Let’s start with forever

MATERIALS NEEDED

A tube of a couple. I have permission to use the work of David Desbois whose site you can visit HERE If you haven’t permission then choose another artist. Please respect artist copyright.
Mask – Moonbeams and Spiderwebs Mask 14 which you can find on the site HERE- it’s the second one below masks 5 and 16
A few scraps of your choice

PLUGINS USED

MuRa’s Meister – Copies
Filter Factory Gallery N – Yage
Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Textures – Reptile Skin

Choose a light colour for your foreground materials and a medium colour for your background materials

Open a new transparent raster image 700 x 700
Copy your tube and paste as a new layer
Effects / Plugins / MuRa’s Meister / Copies / Settings below

Layer / Duplicate
Now manoeuvre the top layer and the bottom layer so that your image is completely covered
If there are any small gaps then flood fill your raster 1 layer with your medium colour
Layers / Merge / Merge Visible

Adjust / Blur / Gaussian Blur / 2
Effects / Plugins / Filter Factory Gallery N / Yage / Settings below

Open a new raster layer
Layers / Arrange / Send to bottom
Flood fill with your light colour
Set your Blend Mode for the top layer to Luminance (Legacy)
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

Layers / New Mask Layer / From Image
Find your MB and SW Mask 14 in the drop down box and press OK
Click on Layer Group – Raster 1 and Merge Group

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer
If you need to lighten the background slightly as I did then Adjust / Hue and Saturation / Colourize and experiment until you get a nice toning effect
You may also lessen the Opacity – I needed to do this with mine to get a good contrast

Duplicate your tube layer
On the lower layer Adjust / Blur / Gaussian Blur / 4
On the upper layer apply your MB and SW Mask 14 again and Merge Group

Open a new Raster Layer and Flood Fill with white
Layers / Arrange / Send to Bottom
Decorate with scraps as you wish adding drop shadow to each layer

Activate your lower tube layer and add drop shadow 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 /Black
Add your quotation in a suitable font - I used a different font for the final word placing it on a layer of it’s own and picked a different colour from the tube for this too

Add your artists copyright information and on a new layer add your watermark
Add your name and some drop shadow

Image / Resize / Resize all layers checked / resize to 500 pixels wide or your choice
You can finish here if you don’t want to animate

ANIMATION

Select your word that you want to animate
Effects / Plugins / Eye Candy 5 Textures / Reptile Skin
On the Settings tab, choose Spiky Bumps, Colour from Original
On the Basic Tab select these settings

Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation
Return to PSP

Undo
Re-apply the Reptile Skin with the same settings but this time press the Random Seed button
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste after the current Frame
Return to PSP

Undo
Re-apply the Reptile Skin with the same settings and press the Random Seed Button
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on Frame 2 and Paste after the Current Frame

Test your animation and Save as a GIF

Open a new transparent image 700 x 700
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer

Effects / Plugins / MuRa’s Meister Copies / Settings below

Duplicate the layer and Move so that the whole image is completely covered
Layers / Merge / Merge Down
Adjust / Blur / Gaussian Blur / 2

Effects / Plugins / Flaming Pear / Lacquer / Settings below

Duplicate the layer and Move again so that all the image is covered
Layers / Merge / Merge Visible

Effects / Plugins / Filter Factory / Gallery B / Circulator / Settings as follows

Use your Selection Tool set on circle and select the middle of the doughnut. You can use Selection Edit and then use the Raster Deform / Pick Tool to get it where you want and the press – then Selections and remove the check mark against Edit

Press delete to remove the inner circle
Selections / Modify / Expand / 100
Selections / Modify / Expand / 24
Selections / Invert / Delete / Select None

Image Resize / All layers unchecked / Resize to 500 pixels width
Copy and Paste your tube and place so that it appears to have come out of the doughnut
Duplicate this layer and place one copy below your doughnut layer

Increase your Canvas size to 850 x 850 if you need more room to work
Activate the doughnut layer and Select All / Selections / Float / Selections / Defloat
Activate your upper tube layer and use your eraser tool set on Round / Size 26 / Hard 50
Erase the parts of the tube in the selection at the bottom at at the top if your chosen tube needs it
Selections / Select None

Activate your bottom tube layer
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Deep shade from your tube

Activate your doughnut layer
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Same deep shade from your tube

Now decorate with elements from your chosen scrap kit adding the drop shadow that we just used to each element

Open a new Raster Layer and Flood Fill with White Arrange / Send to Bottom
Selections / Select All
Open a New Raster Layer
Copy a paper of your choice from the scrap kit and paste into the Selection
Selections / Select None

Layers / New Mask Layer / From Image and find your Vix_Mask)Valentine11 or a mask of your choice
Layers / Merge / Merge Group

Resize / All layers checked / Width 500 pixels
Add your copyright information on a new layer
Add your watermark on another new layer

Finally, add your name or chosen text in a pretty font and add the same drop shadow as last used and your tag is finished!

Flood Fill your image with this gradient

Halloween Magic

MATERIALS NEEDED
A head and shoulders tube – I have permission to use the work of Gregory J Griffin whose gorgeous image I used here. Of course you don’t have to make this a Halloween tag – you can adapt it to any theme.
Scrap of your choice – I used Gothic Halloween by Kittz Kreationz which you can find HERE
A Mask of your choice
Two fonts – I used Zombified for the quotations and Tom Thumb for the name

PLUGINS NEEDED
Flaming Pear – Swerve

Choose two colours from your tube – I chose the red and black – and place in your foreground and background materials

Open a new transparent image 700 x 550 and Flood Fill with White
Open a New Layer and Selections / Select All
Copy a paper of your choice from your scrap kit – I used GH-P6 from the Gothic Halloween kit
and Paste into Selection
Selections / Select None

Effects / 3D Effects / Flaming Pear / Swerve / Settings below
47 / 12 / 15 / 75 / Triangle / Normal

Effects / Edge Effects / Enhance

Open a New Raster Layer and arrange beneath your Raster 2 (Flaming Pear Swerve) Layer
Set the Opacity of Raster 2 layer to 50
Layers / Merge / Merge Down – so now you have your Flaming Pear layer and your white layer

Activate your Flaming Pear layer
Layers / New Mask Layer / From Image – find your mask and press OK
Activate Layer Group – Raster 3
Layers / Merge / Merge Group

Open a New Raster Layer
Activate your Selection Tool and press the Custom Selection button
Use the following settings

Flood fill the selection with red or your chosen colour
Selections / Modify / Select Selection Borders / Settings Below

Open a New Raster Layer and fill your selection with black or your chosen colour
Selections / Select None
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

Now copy elements from your scrap kit to enhance your image remembering to leave space for your tube on the left hand side – see the header as an example
I used GH-M2 (the moon), GH-WitchCat, GH-Twirly Bow and GH Bat. Copy and paste each of these elements and paste as a new layer onto your tag – resize as necessary and add the following drop shadow on each layer 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Colour #404040

Add your quotation in a suitable text – I used the font Zombified in white with drop shadow 2 / 2 / 52 / 6 / Black

Copy your tube and paste as a new layer
Resize so that the tube will fit nicely when it is in the uppermost position – see the screenshot below

Move the tube layer below the red banner layer
Duplicate this layer 7 times to make a total of 8 tube layers

We are going to start with the uppermost tube layer and work our way down
Leave the top tube layer as it is
Activate the layer below and click on your Raster Deform / Pick Tool
On your tool bar note the value of Position Y then add 50 to it and change to the new value – my tube was in position Y 24 so on this layer I changed Y to 74 Yours may be in a different position – don’t worry just add 50 to whatever is in the Y box
The tube will move down behind the top layer as below

Activate the next layer down and this time add 100 to your Y value on the tool bar – I made mine 124
Continue moving down the layers and adding 150, 200, 250, 300, 350 respectively to each layer
My bottom layer position Y was 374 – the original 24 + 350 You will then have something like this

Now we are going to work on each of the layers of our tube
Activate your banner layer
Selections / Select All
Selections / Float
Selections / De-float
Selections / Invert

Set your eraser tool to Round Size 24
Close the eye of all the tube layers apart from the lowest one
Now activate your lowest tube layer
With your eraser rub out all the parts of the tube that appear below the banner

Activate the next layer up and open the eye
With your eraser rub out all the parts of the tube that appear below the banner

Continue in this way activating the next layer up and opening the eye and erasing the parts of the tube that appear below the banner – you may not have to do a couple of the topmost layers – it will depend on your tube and the positions.

When you have completed all layers Selections / Select None and you should have something like this

Now we are going to finish our tag before we begin to animate

Image / Resize / Resize all Layers checked / Resize to Width 500 pixels or your personal preference

Activate your top layer and on a new layer add your artist’s copyright and a credit for the scrap if the Terms of Use require it
On another new layer add your watermark
In a suitable font – I used Tom Thumb – add your name and add drop shadow 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Black and move into your chosen position – we are now ready to animate our tag

ANIMATION

Close the eye of each of your 8 tube layers
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation
Return to PSP

Open they eye of the bottom tube layer
Copy merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Close the eye of the bottom layer and open the eye of the next layer up
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on the last frame and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Continue in this way until you have 9 frames in Animation Shop – check your animation to make sure that your tube moves up
If this is working properly then we are set to make the tube go back down
Activate frames 2-8 inclusive
Edit Copy
Activate frame 9 and Paste After Current Frame and IMMEDIATELY Animation Reverse Frames
Activate Frame 1
Animation / Frame Properties / Set at 85
Activate Frames 2 – 8 inclusive
Animation / Frame Properties / Set at 15
Activate Frame 9
Animation / Frame Properties / Set at 85

Check that your animation works as mine then check Animation / Animation Properties and select the Looping tab – it should be set on Repeat the Animation indefinitely

Whisper My Name

Open a New Image 700 x 550
Choose a colour from your tube for the foreground colour
Choose another similar shade of the same colour from your tube for the background colour
Make a foreground gradient as follows / Linear / Angle 43 / Repeats 0 / Invert unchecked
Flood Fill your image with the gradient

Effects / Plugins / Andrews Filters 52 / Warping the RGB Space / Settings below

This may change your colour !   Don’t worry we will sort this in the step after next

Open a New Raster Layer
Flood Fill with your gradient
Set the Opacity of this layer to 55
If you are still unhappy with the shade – mine was a bit too pink for my tube – Adjust / Colour / Manual Colour Correction (or in PSP X2 Manual Colour Correction) and alter the shade to more in keeping with your tube

Open a New Raster Layer
With your Freehand Selection Tool / Lasso draw out a triangle starting at the bottom left hand corner up to the top right hand corner down to the right hand bottom corner and across to the bottom left hand corner like this

Flood Fill with this with your background colour
Selections / Select None
Effects / Plugins / VM Toolbox / Trimosaic / Settings below

Effects / Filters Unlimited / Distortion Filters / Ink Blots / Intensity 91

Effects / Plugins / Andrews Filter 7 / Glassy Look / Here is where the colours you are using and your own personal preference steps in – so you won’t necessarily get the same pattern as myself.   I chose to remove all the green and blue from my pattern by sliding the two green and two blue sliders to 0   What you do is your choice – press randomise to get ideas –just come up with a pleasing pattern of colours – and have fun!

Open a New Transparent Raster Image 700 x 550
Select a light colour from your tube and place in your foreground materials
Select a medium to dark colour from your tube for your background materials

Make a Foreground gradient with the following settings Linear / Angle 90 / Repeats 0 / Invert unchecked
Flood Fill your image with this gradient

Change your foreground material from the gradient to your light colour
Choose your brush tool with the square shape and size at 200
Open a New Raster Layer and click with your brush with your foreground colour in the centre of your working image
Effects / Plugins / Image Skill / Displacement Map / Settings as follows – you can choose any map you like

Activate your top layer
Add your text – you may want to choose another phrase – in a nice font
Add Drop Shadow 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black
Use your Mover Tool to move it down and to the left on the Wave

Copy your Tube and Paste as a New Layer
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers unchecked / As necessary
Move over to the right of the tag – see my example

Activate your Raster 1 Layer
Selections / Select All
Image / Crop to Selection

Image / Add Borders / Symmetrical / 15 pixels / Foreground Colour - your version of PSP may tell you that the image has to be flattened first - that's fine

Using your Preset Shape Tool set on heart
Close off your foreground colour and change your background colour to a dark colour from your tube
Draw your heart – see my example as a guide to the size
Effects / 3D Effects / Inner Bevel / Settings below

Move into your desired position
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black

We are now ready to animate – if you wish to do this of course!

ANIMATION

This is really easy as there are only 2 frames

Line up the point of your heart with one of the lines in the background
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and paste as a New Animation
Return to PSP

Activate your heart layer
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers unchecked / Resize 105%
Now re-align the point of your heart on the same line in the background
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste After the Current Frame

Edit / Select All
Animation / Frame Properties / Set to 45
Save as a GIF and we have finished our tag!

Andrews Filter 8 – Tow The Line
Eye Candy 5 Texture – Texture Noise

OK – let’s begin!
Open your Template and tube in PSP and duplicate with Shift+D then close out the originals

Select two contrasting colours from your tube for your foreground and background materials
Also make a nice foreground gradient – I made this one - Angle 45 / Repeats 1 / Invert unchecked – or you can use a pre-made gradient that has colours to match your tube

Activate Raster 2 of the Template
Selections / Select All
Selections / Float / Selections / De-Float
Flood Fill with one of your colours
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black

Activate Raster 5 of the Template
Selections / Select All
Selections / Float / Selections / De-Float
Flood Fill with the gradient
Effects / Plugins / Andrews Filter 8 / Tow the Line / Default Settings
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / Same Settings

Activate Raster 4 of the Template

Move the tube in position on the right of your working image

Using your Eraser Tool carefully remove the part of her leg that overlaps between Raster 2 and Raster 5 and then erase the remainder of the leg outside Raster 2 – you can see where I am starting here where the small circle is

Move Raster 3 and Copy of Raster 3 over to the right hand side as my example

You can open the eye of Raster 6 and of Raster 8 now and resize the wording to fit alongside your tube – I chose to rewrite mine in Black – whichever looks best for you

Add your name in a font of your choice – I used my gradient in the background materials and added the same Drop Shadow

Image / Resize / Resize All Layers checked / Resize to 500 Width or your chosen size

Add your artist’s copyright on a new layer
Add your watermark on yet another layer
Add a new layer and Flood Fill with white
Layers / Arrange / Send to Bottom

We are now ready to animate our tag – you don’t have to do this – you can finish here is you wish

ANIMATION

Activate Copy (2) of Raster 7
Set the Opacity to between 70 and 75
Effects / Plugins / Eye Candy 5 / Textures / Texture Noise / Settings as follows

On the Settings Tab Choose Hue Crazy Diamonds

On the Basic Tab Settings are as below

Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation
Return to PSP

Undo
Re-apply the Texture Noise with the same settings but press the Random Seed button
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste After the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Undo
Re-apply the Texture Noise with the same settings but press the Random Seed button
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on Frame 2 and Paste After the Current Frame

Scrap Kit – I used Equilibrium by Bel Vidotti – sadly she has closed her blog but I have written permission from her to use the sets in tutorials and to include the link to where the sets are still available HERE – although any scrap kit of your choice will do

PLUGINS USED

Eye Candy 5 Textures – Texture Noise

From your Scrap Kit open BVS Equilibrium frame03 and duplicate using Shift+D
Close out the original

Choose a light colour from your tube for your foreground colour
Choose a medium colour from your tube for your background colour
Make a foreground gradient / Linear / Angle 0 / Repeats 1 / invert unchecked
Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill with your gradient
Layers / Arrange / Send to Bottom

With your Magic Wand set on Add (Shift) / RGB Value / Tolerance 0 / Feather 0 click inside each of the parts of the frame
Selections / Modify / Expand / 10 Pixels
Selections / Invert
Activate your gradient layer and press Delete on your keyboard
Selections / Select None

Effects / Texture Effects / Texture / Choose Sidewalk (Corel_15_044) or another of your choice with the following settings

Activate Raster 2 and Open a New Raster Layer
Flood Fill with a darker shade of your background colour
Layers / New Mask Layer / From Image / Find your Maskcamerontags_spacio1 in the drop down box / see below

Layers / Merge Group

Move the mask to the right hand side – see my example
Using your Eraser Tool carefully remove any of the balls that show between, above and below the frames
Activate Raster 1 – your frame layer

Now start adding your scrap elements
For each element you wish to include Copy and Paste as a New Layer – Resize as necessary

You can use the same ones I did or choose your own and of course use your own choice of scrap

Copy and Paste your tube
Re-size as necessary
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / I used the darker shade of the mask

When you have your tube and all your elements arranged to your liking
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers checked / Resize to width 500 or your chosen size

On a new layer add your artist’s copyright
Add your watermark on a new layer
Add your name in a suitable font and Drop Shadow 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black

We are now ready to animate our tag – or you can finish here if you don’t wish to animate

ANIMATION

Activate your tube layer
With your Magic Wand set on Point to Point and Add (Shift) choose some parts of your tube to which you wish to apply animation
When you have them all selected – mine took a while as there were quite a few – ensure that your tube layer is activated

Effects / Plugins / Eye Candy 5 Textures / Texture Noise with the following settings
On the Settings Tab choose Hue Crazy Diamonds
On the Basics Tab use the settings below

Selections / Select None
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation
Return to PSP

Undo twice – until you have your selections back but no Hue Crazy Diamonds Effect
Re-apply the Effects / Plugins / Eye Candy 5 Textures / Texture Noise / use the same settings but this time press the Random Seed Button
Selections / Select none
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Choose a light colour from your tube for your foreground materials – I chose #907a6c
Choose a medium colour from your tube for you background materials – I chose #56453c
Make a foreground gradient as follows / Linear / Angle 180 / Angle 1 / Invert unchecked
Flood Fill your image with your foreground colour
Effects / Plugins / Harry’s Filters 4.0 / settings as below

Set the Opacity of this layer to 35
Effects / Edge Effects / Enhance

Use your Selection Tool and press the Custom Selection Button with these settings

Promote Selection to Layer
Effects / Plugins / Flaming Pear / Flood / Settings below

Selections / Select None
Duplicate this layer

Activate Copy of Raster 1

Open a New Raster Layer
With your Selection Tool set on Circle trace the inner circle like this

Flood Fill this with your foreground gradient

Open a New Raster Layer
Change your background colour to a dark colour from your tube – I used #292534
Flood Fill the Selection with the new foreground gradient formed

Open a New Raster Layer
Change your background colour to a very light colour from your tube – I used #fefefe
Flood Fill the Selection with the new foreground gradient formed
Selections / Select None

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Colour very dark shade of your background colour
Apply this same Drop Shadow to the other 2 circle layers – Raster 3 and Raster 2

Activate your top layer
Copy your tube and Paste as a New Layer
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers unchecked / I resized mine by 85% – you want your tube to be near the top and bottom edges but leaving enough room for a 25 pixel border
Move the tube slightly right of the centre – see my example
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / Same Settings

Open a New Raster Layer
Selections / Select All
Selections / Modify / Contract / 25 pixels
Selections / Invert
Flood Fill with your original Background colour
Selections / Invert
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Colour very dark shade of your background colour
Re-apply the Drop Shadow but change the Vertical and Horizontal settings to –4
Selections / Select None

Copy the CGHope Word Art and Paste as a New Layer
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers unchecked / 80%
Move into position at the top right
You can change the colour using Adjust / Colour / Manual Colour Correction to match your colour scheme
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black

Open a New Raster Layer
Flood Fill with the background colour you chose to make the gradient of the second circle
Selections / Select All
Selections / Modify / Contract / 2 pixels
Press Delete on your Keyboard

Add your artist’s copyright on a new layer
Add your watermark on another new layer

Add your name in the Font – Where Is The Rest

Re-apply the Plugin Galaxy / Breakfast / but this time press the Random Button until you get a pleasant effect in the preview pane

Choose a dark colour from your tube for the foreground
Choose a light colour from your tube for the background
Make a foreground gradient as follows / Linear / Angle 0 / Repeat 1 / Invert unchecked

Copy your Circle Template and paste as a new layer
Selections / Select All
Selections / Float / Selections / Defloat
Selections / Modify / Expand / 1 pixel
Flood Fill with your gradient
Selections / Select None

Activate Raster 1
Find a nice pattern for your background materials
I picked a small selection of my tube’s scarf and Copied and Pasted as a New Image

A suitable angel or religious tube of your choice – I have permission to use this one by Lilok-Lilok whose site you can find HERE   You need permission from the artist to use the images or use another tube of your choice

My background (you can change the colour to suit your tube) and clouds images

For the Happy Easter wording I used font Chelsea Studio - you can use a font of your choice
I also used font Ethnocentric - you can use a font of your choice

None – yes really!      I know it’s unusual for me – ha ha!

Open a New Transparent Raster Image 700 x 550
Select a light colour from your tube for your foreground material – I chose #fedbff
Select another toning light colour from your tube for your background – I chose #b9a8b2

Selections / Select All
Open your CGBackgroundEasterPrayers and Copy
Paste into Selection
Selections / Select None
If you need to change the colour to match your tube you can do this now using Adjust / Hue and Saturation / Colourise or using Adjust / Colour / Manual Colour Correction

Open your tube and Copy and Paste as a New Layer onto your working image
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers unchecked / resize so that it fits nicely into your working image and you have the space to be able to put the Happy Easter Banner on the right hand side – I resized mine by 85%
Move over slightly to the left hand side – see my example

Activate your Raster 1 layer
Copy your Cloud and Paste as a New Layer
Move the Cloud up – I moved mine up to behind the wings of the angel
Layer / Duplicate
Image / Flip
Now move Copy of Raster 2 layer up above your tube layer
Lower the Opacity of this layer to 73%

Open a New Raster Layer
Activate your Selection Tool and press the Custom Selection Button on the Toolbar / settings below

Flood Fill the Selection with your Foreground Colour
Adjust / Add or Remove Noise / Add Noise / Uniform / 40 / Monochrome checked
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Colour is a darker shade of your background colour
Selections / Select None

With your font Chelsea Studio type the words Happy Easter – Toolbar settings are as below

Place in a central position on your noise rectangle
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Same Colour

Open a New Raster Layer
Selections / Select All
Flood Fill with your foreground colour
Selections / Modify / Contract / 15 pixels and press Delete on your keyboard

Repeat the Drop Shadow but change the Vertical and Horizontal settings to –2

Set your foreground to a light colour from your tube

Make a Linear foreground gradient Angle 45 / Repeats 5 / Invert unchecked
Fill your image with the gradient
Adjust / Blur / Gaussian Blur / 30
Effects / Plug Ins / Graphics Plus / Cross Shadow
Use these settings

Open a new transparent image 700 x 550
Select a medium colour from your tube and place in your background materials
Select a contrasting light colour and place in your foreground materials
Make a foreground gradient / Linear / Angle 180 / Repeats / 0 / Invert checked or choose a nice gradient that you have in your gradient file which will complement your tube
Flood Fill the image with the gradient

Effects / Plugins / VM Distortion / Radiator II / Settings below

Apply the Radiator II once more

Close the Eye of Copy of Raster 4 – your top accent layer
Activate the lower accent layer and move slightly right and up
Open the eye of the top layer
Using the Raster Deform Tool / Pick Tool set on Mode Scale reduce the size slightly by bringing in the corner node towards the centre
Then alter the Mode to Perspective and drag the top right node up slightly as below
to alter the angle of the shoe and move up slightly – see my example – you will have to experiment to get a good effect

Add the same Drop Shadow to the other shoe layer.

Add your artist’s copyright information on a new layer
Add your watermark on a new layer
Add your name in a suitable font and add the same drop shadow

Duplicate this layer and position the top x-ray slightly to the left and alter the angle

Open rs_bracelet1 from your Scrap Kit and Copy and Paste as a New Layer

Duplicate this layer and then move one layer under Raster 2
On the upper layer use your Eraser set on Size 10 Round and carefully erase part of the bracelet so that the frame shows – see below

Re-apply the Xenofex 2 / Cracks / Settings remain the same but press the Random Seed button
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste after the Current Frame

Xenofex 2 – Puzzle

Open a New Transparent Raster Image 700 x 550
Choose a light colour from your tube for your foreground colour – I chose #e9c713
Choose a contrasting medium colour from your tube for your background colour – I chose #4f5e1d
Now make a Linear Foreground Gradient Angle 45 / Repeats 1 / Invert unchecked

Flood Fill your image with the gradient
Layers / Duplicate
Effects / Plugins / VM Experimental / Every Picture Tells a Story / 8
Set the Opacity of this layer to 60

Copy your mist or tube and Paste as a New Layer
Layers / Duplicate
On the lower layer of your mist / tube Adjust / Blur / Gaussian Blur / 10
Effects / Texture Effects / Mosaic-Glass / Settings below

Activate your top tube or mist layer and Move slightly to the right and slightly down
Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill with your Foreground Colour
Selections / Select All
Selections / Modify / Contract / 35 pixels and Press Delete on your Keyboard

Selections / Invert
Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill with your Background Colour
Set the Blend Mode of this Layer to Dissolve and the Opacity to 50

Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill with a darker shade of your background colour – I used #4f5eld

Selections / Modify / Contract / 2 pixels / press Delete on your Keyboard

Close the eyes of the top 3 layers and Layers / Merge Visible
Open the eyes of the top 3 layers
Selections / Select None
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers checked / Resize to 500 pixels wide or your personal choice

Add your artist’s copyright information on a new layer
Add your personal watermark on a new layer
Close the eye of all the layers except your watermark and the background layer
Layers / Merge / Merge Visible
Add your name on a new layer
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black
We’re now ready to animate our tag – if you want to that is! It’s up to you

ANIMATION

Activate Raster 4 and using your Magic Wand set on Tolerance 0 and Feather 0 click in the centre of the frame
Activate your Merged layer
Effects / Plugins / Xenofex 2 / Puzzle / Settings below

Columns 4 / Connector Length 50 / Groove Width 50

Select a piece in the top right corner and then press Invert All Pieces and then OK

Selections / Select None
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation
Return to PSP

Undo twice
Effects / Plugins / Xenofex 2 / Puzzle / Same settings but Press Invert All Pieces
Then choose another piece – It’s best to select from the outside and then leave the middle pieces until last – this way it’s more of a surprise at the end

Then Invert All Pieces and press OK

Selections / Select None
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Undo twice
Effects / Plugins / Xenofex 2 / Same settings but press Invert All Pieces
Choose another piece and press Invert All Pieces and press OK
Selections / Select None
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on the last frame (Frame 2 in this case) and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Repeat this procedure 9 times until all the pieces remain in the picture but you can see the puzzle lines
Be very careful not to catch the Randomize Connector Buttons or you will have to start over!
Return to PSP
Undo twice
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste after Frame 12
Return to PSP

Close off the Merged Layer
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on Frame 1
Paste Before the Current Frame – you should now have 14 frames

Edit / Select All
Animation / Frame Properties / Set to 40
Click on Frame 1 Animation / Frame Properties / Set to 120
Click on Frame 14 Animation / Frame Properties / Set to 240

Animation / Animation Properties
Click the Looping Tab and ensure that this is set to Repeat the Animation indefinitely

Oval frame of your choice

Open a New Transparent Image 700 x 700
Put your Gradient in your gradient folder and point PSP to it
Choose a light colour from your tube for your foreground colour – I used #a099c1
Choose a medium colour from your tube for your background colour – I used #473f8f

Flood Fill the image with your gradient set on Linear / Angle 45 / Repeat 1 / Invert unchecked
Copy your oval frame and paste as a new layer
With your Magic Wand set on Tolerance 0 and Feather 0 click outside the frame
Now Activate your background layer
Press Delete on your keyboard
Selections / Select None

Activate your frame layer
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black
Open a New Raster Layer and Layers / Arrange / Send to bottom
Selections / Select All
From your Scrap Kit open rs_glitters1 and Copy and Paste into Selection
Selections / Select None

Copy your tube and paste as a New Layer
Resize as necessary so that the tube is just larger than the height of your frame
Move this layer so it is under your frame layer
Position the tube as below

Using your Eraser Tool set on size 20 carefully rub away the portion of her dress at the bottom which covers your frame
You should now have something like this

Now we need to remove the part of her dress that is still outside the frame
With your eraser size on 20 go over this area on your top layer and then move down to the original layer and carefully remove this too – stay on this layer

Naughty But Nice

I use Font Hypmotizin but you can use any font of your choice
Font – A nice handwriting type font for the “but” – I used a commercial font but there are many free ones available

Hello there!    So sorry I haven’t posted anything for a while – I am suffering with my arm and shoulder which makes it extremely difficult to use my mouse – I have had 2 sessions of acupuncture and another one to go next week to try and ease it     Consequently I have had to spend much less time on the computer in one position – but here goes with a quick and simple one!

Open a New Transparent Raster Image 700 x 550
Choose a very light colour from your tube for the foreground colour
Choose a medium light colour from your tube for the background colour
Make a foreground gradient / Linear / Angle 45 / Repeats 1 / Invert unchecked
Flood Fill the image with your gradient
Adjust / Blur / Gaussian Blur / 30

Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill with a Dark contrasting colour from your tube – I used Black
Layers / Arrange / Send To Bottom

Activate your Gradient Layer
Effects / Plugins / Image Skill / Displacement Map / Settings as below

Copy your tube and Paste as a New Layer
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers unchecked / Resize as necessary – see my full length tube as a guide
Move into position as my example

Duplicate using Shift+D and close out the originals
Choose a light colour from your tube for your foreground colour – I chose #a8b7be

Make a Foreground gradient / Linear / Angle 45 / Repeats 5 / Invert checked
Open a New Transparent Raster Image 700 x 550 and Flood Fill with the gradient
Set the Opacity of this layer to 65

Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill with a dark colour – I used the dark green that you see on the inner border of my example - #474f3d

Activate your top layer
Copy your tube and Paste as a New Layer

Draw around the main stream of the water coming out of the urn
Then draw some splashes – when you get near to the edge of the main stream of water the selections will join Eventually you should have something like this – it doesn’t have to be identical !

On the Settings Tab choose Small Champagne Bubbles
On the Basic Tab use the settings below – I changed the Highlight Colour to White

This is a quick and easy tag to make as it is based on a template
MATERIALS NEEDED
A suitable tube – I have permission to use this tube from the work of Anastasiya Igolkina whose site you can find HERE If you don't have permission to use this artist's work then select an alternative tube
Other Materialssg_diagonal-lace mask by EssexGirl which you can download free from her site HERE It’s the 3rd row down on the extreme right
Template_29_Beth_08 by Blissfully Beth which you can download free from her site HERE Once you accept the content warning and get to the blog - Look on the left where it says Download Tag Template Packs and you want Packs 21 thru 30
A gold pattern of your choice

PLUGINS USED
None

Choose a Dark Colour from your tube for your background colour – I used Black
Choose a contrasting colour for your foreground colour – I used a bright red
Open your Mask, your template and your tube in PSP and duplicate using Shift + D and close out the originals

We are going to work on the template
Delete the top layer with the credits – Raster 1
Close the eye of all the layers except the white Background layer and activate this layer
Open a New Raster Layer and fill with your foreground colour
Layer / New Mask Layer / From Image / find your mask in the drop down box as below

Activate your Group – Raster 1 layer
Layers / Merge / Merge Down

Open the eye of your next layer up – grey bars bg and activate the layer
Selections / Select All
Selections / Float Selections Defloat
Change your foreground colour to your gold pattern
Starting with the bottom bar – flood fill alternate bars with the gold pattern
Then flood fill the remaining bars with black
Selections / Select None
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Black

Open the eye of the rec 3 layer and activate the layer
Selections / Select All
Selections / Float Selections Defloat
Flood Fill with your background colour

Open the eye of the rec 2 layer and activate the layer

Flood Fill with your gold pattern – click in the centre and then around the edge so that you don’t have a black border and the white line is still there like the other rectangle

Flood Fill with the Gold Pattern

Now we need to eliminate the tiny grey square that was left after we filled in with our foreground colour - we want this bit to be our gold pattern

Take your Freehand Selection Tool / Lasso set on Point to Point / Feather 0 and click around the grey area and then flood fill with your gold pattern
Selections / Select None
Layers / Duplicate
Use your Mover Tool to move down and right into position as mine
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Black
Repeat this on the original Heart layer

Delete the Heart2 layer from the template as we don’t need this now
Copy your lady tube and Paste as a New Layer
Resize / Resize All Layers unchecked / As necessary – I resized mine by 65%
Move down and slightly to the right – see my example
My tube had a hard edge on the bottom which I want to soften as I’m not going to tuck it behind a frame
If you need to do this with your tube then take your Freehand Selection Tool set on Freehand / Replace / Feather 20 and draw an area around the hard edge of the tube like this

Hit delete a couple of times on your keyboard and you will get a nice soft faded edge
Selections / Select None
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / Same Settings
Activate your rec 3 layer – and Layers / Merge / Merge down
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers unchecked / 90%
Move down slightly – see my example

Activate your top layer and move the words down slightly
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers checked / 500 pixels wide
Add your artist’s copyright information on a new layer
Add your watermark on another new layer
Choose a nice font and type your name and add the same Drop Shadow and we can start to animate our tag!

Always and Forever

Two suitable tubes of your choice – I have permission to use there two tubes by Anastasiya Igolkina whose beautiful work you can find HERE If you don't have permission then select a couple of alternative tubes - but they must be from the same artist
Scrap Kit “Valentine’s Day” by Katussia which you can download HERE

PLUGINS USED
Graphics Plus – Cross Shadow
Xero – Improver
Eye Candy 5 Nature – Ripples

Open a New Transparent Raster Image 700 x 700 – we will resize later
Set your foreground colour to #a1240f and your background colour to Black
Make a foreground gradient / Linear / Angle 45 / Repeats 3 / Invert unchecked

Copy the Valentine’s_Day29 Heart Frame from your Katussia Scrap Kit and Paste as a New Layer
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers unchecked / 70%
Using your Magic Wand click inside the Heart Frame
Selections / Modify / Expand / 10 pixels
Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill with your gradient
Selections / Select None
Effects / Plugins / Graphics Plus / Cross Shadow / Settings below

Activate your Heart Frame layer
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Colour #4d1c28
Layers / Arrange / Bring to Top
Activate your gradient fill layer
Copy your couple tube or your main tube and Paste as a New Layer
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers unchecked / as necessary – I needed to resize mine by 75%
Move your tube over to the right – see my example
Duplicate this layer and drag to the top of your layers
Now use your eraser to delete parts of the top layer to make it look as though the couple are inside the heart at the bottom – I just needed to remove a small amount of the man’s knee – see below – the circle is the tip of my eraser

Add the same drop shadow to the top layer

Activate the lower couple tube layer
Now Copy your other head and shoulders tube and Paste as a New Layer
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers unchecked / as necessary – I did mine by 50%
Move into place on the left hand size of the frame
Effects / Plugins / Xero / Improver / Settings below

Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Black

Activate your Raster 1 Layer
Change your foreground colour to #fbf1ef
Change your background colour to #f4bdb4
Flood Fill with the new foreground gradient made by these 2 new colours
Selections / Select All
Open Valentine’s_Day21 from your Katussia Scrap Kit and Copy
Open a New Raster Layer and Paste Into Selection
Selections / Select None
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Colour #4d1c28

Copy Valentine’s_Day11 or another of your choice from your Katussia Scrap Kit and Paste as a New Layer
Arrange / Bring To Top
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers unchecked / 60%
Move into position as my example
Add the same Drop Shadow – you can adjust the colour if you like to suit your tag
Open your Valentine’s_Day40 from your Katussia Scrap Kit
Using your Selection Tool set on Rectangle isolate the double cherry hearts and Copy
Paste as a New Layer onto your working image
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers unchecked / 17%
Move into Place at the top of the tag and then move this layer down beneath the tag layer
Add the same Drop Shadow
Duplicate the layer and position these as mine at the bottom of the tag

Activate your top layer and using your Text Tool choose a nice font
Set your foreground to null and your background to black
Write your message and use your Raster Deform Tool / Pick tool to swing into place on the tag
On a new layer draw a heart shape with your Pre-set shape tool
Selections / Select All / Selections / Float / Selections / De-float / Flood Fill with the same red of the Cherry Hearts
Effects / 3D Effects / Inner Bevel / Settings Below

Selections / Select None
Manoeuvre into position with your Raster Deform Tool / Pick Tool
Use your Text Tool to add two kisses if you like
Activate your top layer and Open a New Raster Layer
Selections / Select All
Flood Fill with your original Background colour
Selections / Modify / Contract / 5 pixels / Press Delete on your Keyboard
Selections / Select None

Image / Resize / Resize All Layers / 500 pixels Wide
Add your artist’s copyright on a new layer
Then add your watermark on another new layer
Now add your name and a subtle drop shadow

We are now ready to animate our tag – you can finish here if you don’t wish to animate yours

ANIMATION

Activate your Raster 3 layer – your gradient heart filled layer
Effects / Eye Candy 5 Nature / Ripples / On the Settings tab Choose Ripples Only Inside Selection 2
On the Basic Tab use the settings below

On the Lighting tab choose the settings below – colour is your background colour

Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation
Return to PSP

Undo
Re-apply the Ripples with the same settings but press the Random Seed button on the Basic Tab
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Undo
Re-apply the Ripples with the same settings but press the Random Seed button on the Basic Tab
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on Frame 2 and Paste after the Current Frame

Edit / Select All
Animation / Frame Properties / Set to 25

Open a New Transparent Raster Image 700 x 500
Choose a light colour for your foreground and a light to medium colour for your background
Make a foreground gradient / Linear / Angle 45 / Repeats 1 / Invert checked and Flood Fill your image with this gradient
Effects / Plugins / Birgit’s Chaos – Embroidery / Default Settings
Effects / Edge Effects / Enhance

Change your gradient to Repeats 3 / Invert unchecked
Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill with your gradient

Copy and Paste as a New Layer onto your working image
Move over to the right hand side and using your Raster Deform Tool / Pick Tool pull the top nodes up slightly so that the top hearts are slightly higher up – see my example

Make a note of the Hue and Saturation values of your Background Colour
Adjust / Hue and Saturation / Colorize / set to your values – mine were 255 and 161

You don’t have to animate if you don’t wish to – just finish here

ANIMATION

Activate your tube layer and select an area to animate with your Freehand Selection Tool /Lasso – I chose the heart wand on my tube
If you don’t have a suitable area on your tube you can omit this and just animate the heart border (Valentine’sDay32 scrap layer)

Effects / Eye Candy 5 / Textures / Texture Noise / On the Settings tab choose Diamond Noise and then on the Basics Tab change the settings to those below

Selections / Select None
Activate your Heart Border Layer (Raster 5) and re-apply the Eye Candy 5 Texture / Texture Noise with the same settings
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation
Return to PSP

Undo 4 times
Effects / Plugins / Eye Candy 5 / Textures / Diamond Noise / Same settings but press Random Seed
Selections / Select None
Activate your Heart Border Layer (Raster 5) and re-apply the Eye Candy 5 Texture / Texture noise with the same settings
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Undo 4 times

Dance with Nature

A gold pattern of your choice

Other Materials - if you want to animate then you need some bling of your choice

You will also need a floral brush of your choice

PLUGINS USED
Kang 2 – The Persian Window
MuRa’s Meister – Cloud
FM Tile Tools – Blend Emboss

Open your tube and your Floral brush in PSP
Duplicate your tube with Shift+D and close out the original
Click on the Blue Bar of your brush and File / Export /Custom Brush this will make the brush available on your drop down menu on the Brush Toolbar

Open a New Transparent Raster Image 700 x 550
Pick a light colour from your tube for your foreground colour
Pick a medium colour from your tube for your background colour
Make a Foreground Gradient / Angle 45 / Repeats 1 / Invert checked
Flood Fill your working image with the gradient

Open a New Raster Layer
Change your Foreground materials from gradient to your foreground colour

Open a New Raster Layer
Activate your Brush Tool and Find your CGFloralBrush2 in the drop down box
Set the size to 425 and lining up with the inside of the inner border click a couple of times with your Gold Texture as below – the blue lines are where I have left the brush to show you

Arrange / Move Down so that this layer is under your tube layer
Effects / Plugins / FM Tile Tools / Blend Emboss / Default Settings
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Background Colour
Layer / Duplicate
Make a note of Hue and Saturation values of your foreground and background colours
Adjust / Hue and Saturation / Colorize / set to either of your values – whichever you prefer
I used my background colour values
Set the opacity of this layer to 60

Image / Resize / Resize All Layers checked / 500 pixels
Adjust / Sharpness / Sharpen

Add your artist’s copyright information on a new layer then add your watermark on another new layer
Finally add your name in a suitable font with a little drop shadow if you prefer and we are ready to animate our tag   Of course if you don’t wish to animate yours you can finish here

ANIMATION

Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation

Open you chosen bling – take notice of the number of frames
Click on the blue top bar of your tag and Edit / Duplicate Selected and repeat this until you have the same number of frames

If necessary resize your bling - Animation / Resize Animation / 50% or your chosen size
Click on the top blue bar of your bling and Edit / Select All
Click on the top blue bar of your tag and Edit / Select All
Make sure that both sliders are all the way to the left
Then grab hold of your bling in frame 1 and slide it over to frame 1 of your tag and place it in a nice position   When you are happy let go of your mouse

Test your animation and we are finished!   I hope you enjoyed this tutorial – I would love to see your results!

Open your chosen tube and the other materials in PSP duplicate using Shift+D and close out the originals
File / Export / Custom Brush / both the corsets
Open a New Transparent Raster Image 700 x 550

Select a very light colour for your foreground colour and a medium colour for your background colour and make a foreground gradient / Linear / Angle 45 / Invert unchecked and Flood Fill your image with this gradient
Adjust / Blur / Gaussian Blur / 10
Effects / Plugins / Filter Factory Gallery H / Alias Blur / Default Settings as below

Effects / Plugins / Filter Factory Gallery Q / Magnetic North / Top 2 settings as below – the Red Green and Blue Settings you need to put to the RGB values of your background colour – so yours may not be the same as mine

On your foreground gradient settings – check the Invert
Open a New Raster Layer
Using your Selection Tool press the Custom Button on the Toolbar with these settings

Flood Fill with your new gradient
Selections / Select None
Duplicate the Layer then Image / Flip
Activate your Raster 1 Layer
Copy the Gold Chains and Paste as a New Layer move into position between the 2 squares
Layer / Duplicate then using your Mover Tool slide these up under the top square so that the squares appear to hand from the top of your image
Merge / Merge Down
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black

Activate your copy of Raster 2 layer
Merge / Merge Down
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 3 / 3 / 75 / 25 / Black

Open a New Raster Layer
Activate your Brush and Find Corset1 in the drop down box
Set the size on the toolbar to 175 and the Rotation to 15
Set the Background Colour to Black and click once in the middle of the top square – see my example for the placement

Duplicate this layer then Image / Mirror

Activate Raster 1 and Open a New Raster Layer

Change your foreground colour to white and click once in the position shown

Activate your top layer – Copy your tube and Paste as a New Layer
Resize as necessary / Resize All Layers unchecked and move into position as my example

Escape from Fashion

BirdCage
Corel 090/035 Picture Frame (Edge Fun 02)
Animated Bird
Farouk Font - or one of your choice
Jingopop Font - or one of your choice
Geometric Mask of your choice

PLUGINS USED
Sapphire Filter – 0063
Graphics Plus – Cross Shadow
Alien Skin Xenofex 2.0 – Constellation

Open a new transparent image 700 x 550
Set your foreground to a light colour from your tube – I used #f39721
Set your background to a medium colour from your tube – I used #dc2c02
Make a foreground gradient as below

Flood Fill your image with the gradient

Change the foreground materials to another colour from your tube – I used this one #f1816b which was from the lady’s hat
On the same layer using your paint pot click with the new foreground colour in 2 places as below

Effects / Plugins / Sapphire 0063 / Default Settings
The pattern you get will vary depending on the exact spot that you click – but yours will be unique!
If you don’t like it – undo twice and click in different places or find a second colour and click somewhere with that as well as the ones shown above

Open a New Raster Layer and Fill with a Dark Toning Colour – I chose #5b0000
Layer / New Mask Layer / From Image / Find your Mask in the drop down box / Click Source Luminance and press OK
Merge / Merge Group

Copy your tube and Paste as a new layer and resize as necessary
Move into position as my example
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Black

Copy the Bird Cage and Paste as a new Layer moving into position as my example
Add the same Drop Shadow

Using your Text Tool and the Farouk Font set on 72 points put your original background and foreground colours back and then Swap Materials with the arrows so that your medium colour is in the foreground
Type the word ESCAPE – Convert to Raster Layer
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Black

Use your Text Tool and the Jingopop Font set on 72 points close off the foreground and change the background colour to black
Type the words “from fashion” in lower case
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black

Open a New Raster Layer
Selections / Select All
Selections / Modify / Contract / 25 pixels
Selections / Invert and Flood Fill with your light foreground colour
Selections / Invert
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Use the colour you used for the mask
Re-apply the Drop Shadow but change the Vertical and Horizontal values to –4

Selections / Select All
Open a New Raster Layer
Image / Canvas Size / 850 x 700 / press the centre diamond in the Placement Section
Selections / Invert
Flood Fill with your original foreground Colour
Image / Picture Frame / Choose Edge Fun 2 / Corel 09/035 / with these settings

Keep your selection
Duplicate the layer
Now flood fill the selection with your original Background colour or a colour of your choice
Selections / Select None
Use your Magic Wand to select the White Border
Selections / Invert / Image / Crop To Selection

On a new raster layer add your artist’s copyright information
Then add your watermark on a new layer
Add your name in the Farouk Font and add Drop Shadow 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black
We are now ready to animate – if you don’t want to animate then
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers / 500 Wide or your personal choice

ANIMATION

Yes – we have a very big image – but we will resize once we have our animation complete and our bird flying!
Activate your Copy of Picture Frame Layer
Effects / Alien Skin Xenofex 2 / Constellation / with these settings

Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation
Return to PSP

Undo
Re-apply the Constellation with the same settings but press the Random Seed button
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Undo
Re-apply the Constellation with the same settings but press the Random Seed button
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on Frame 2 and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Undo
Re-apply the Constellation with the same settings but press the Random Seed button
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on Frame 3 and Paste after the Current Frame

We now have 4 frames in Animation Shop
Open your Animated Bird animation
Click on the Blue border at the top and Edit / Select All
Do the same with your tag animation
Click the Bird in Frame 1 with your mouse and slide over to frame 1 of your tag, placing as my example
Test your animation

We will now resize our tag

Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill with the original Gradient

Activate the original Lens Flare layer and using Manual Colour Correction set the Source colour to Black and the Target colour to White as below

Rename this layer Black

Activate the next layer up and using Manual Colour Correction set the Source colour to your foreground colour and the Target colour to White   Rename this layer Foreground

Activate the next layer up and using Manual Colour Correction set the Source colour to your Background colour and the Target colour to White   Rename this layer Background

Activate your Mask layer
Copy your tube and Paste as a New Layer – place over to the right hand side as my example
Resize this layer only as necessary – I had to resize mine by 75%
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 5 / 5 / 85 / 45 / Black
Repeat the Drop Shadow but change the Vertical and Horizontal values to –4

Activate your Raster 1 Layer
Selections / Select All
Image / Canvas Size 730 x 580 press the centre diamond in the Placement section

Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill with Black
Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill with the same Linear gradient but with your BG colour changed to 020228

Change the Opacity of this layer to 75%
Merge / Merge Down
Effects / 3D Effects / Inner Bevel / with these settings

Selections / Select None
Activate your Tube Layer
Copy the CG_PearlFrame and Paste as a New Layer
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers / 500 pixels wide or your own choice

On a new layer add your artist’s copyright information
Then add your watermark on another new layer
Add your name in your chosen text with a subtle drop shadow and we are ready to animate our tag
Finish here if you don’t care for an animated tag

ANIMATION

Close off the 2 Lens Flare layers we named Foreground and Background leaving the layer named Black open
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation
Return to PSP

Close the eye of the Black layer and Open the eye of the Foreground Layer
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Close the eye of the Foreground Layer and Open the eye of the Background layer
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on Frame 2 and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Open the eye of the Foreground Layer so that you now have just the Black layer closed
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on Frame 3 and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Now open the eye of the Black Layer so that all three layers are open
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on Frame 4 and Paste after the Current Frame

Edit / Select All

Re-apply the Offset with the same settings

Click on Frame 2 and Paste after Current Frame

Duplicate the Word Art Layer
On the Lower layer apply the offset at 25 as normal

ANIMATION

Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation
Open your chosen Bling in Animation Shop and delete the first frame if it is plain coloured
Make a note of how many frames you have in your Bling and activate your tag and Edit / Duplicate Selected until you have the same number of frames – I had 12 frames in my Heart Bling

Move the sliders on both your animations to the far left
Click on the Blue Bar of your tag animation and Edit / Select All
Click on the Blue Bar of your Bling and Edit / Select All
Click on Frame 1 of you Bling and slide over to your desired position on Frame 1 of your tag

Test your animation – if you have to adjust your placement then click on the blue bar of your tag and undo then click on the blue bar of your bling and undo and you can try again – but make sure that all frames are selected and you have both sliders completely to the left under frame 1

When you are happy then all that remains if for you to Save as a GIF file and another tag is finished! I hope that you enjoyed this one! Send me your comments or results as I would love to hear from you

Choose a darker shade of your background colour - I used #113d3c and place in your background materials

Copy your tube and Paste as a New Layer moving over to the right – see my example
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Colour #3e290a

Activate your Pen Tool and change your foreground colour to black
Ensure that on your Pen Toolbar you have Create on Vector checked Width 2 Line Style Normal
Then draw a line on the 5th line down
Open a New Vector Layer and draw a line on the 5th line up
You should have something like this

Activate your text tool and find your Font – Cocktail Bubbly – Size 12 Points
Activate Vector 1 and open a new vector layer
Hover your mouse over the bottom line until you see the A with the semicircle under it and then click and begin typing SO ENJOY WHILE YOU CAN in uppercase in the colours of your choice
Grab the centre node and move along the line to the left hand side
Convert to Raster Layer

Activate Vector 2 and open a new vector layer
Hover your mouse over the top line until you see the A with the semicircle under it and then click and begin typing TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE in uppercase with the colours of your choice
Grab the centre node and move along the line to match the lower letters
Convert to Raster Layer

Now delete your 2 Vector layers - Vector 1 and Vector 2
Activate your top text layer and Merge / Merge Down
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black

Reverse your foreground and background colours
Change your text size to 24 points and type Happy New Year normally – you should have bubbles above some letters
Objects / Align / Horizontal centre in Canvas
Add the same Drop Shadow and move into position at the top of the tag – see my example

Now add your name at the bottom in the same font and with the same drop shadow

Selections / Select All
Image / Canvas Size / 730 x 580 and open a new raster layer
Selections / Invert / Flood Fill with your light colour
Selections / Invert
Effects / 3D Effects / 4 / 4 / 75 / 25 / same colour
Re-apply the Drop Shadow but change the Vertical and Horizontal values to –4
Selections / Select All

Image / Canvas Size / 800 x 650
Open a New Raster Layer and Selections / Invert
Flood Fill with your Dark Colour
Effects / Plugins / Eye Candy 5 Nature / Water Drops / On the Settings tab select Medium Cola
Selections / Select None

Image / Resize / Resize all layers checked / Resize to 500 wide or your preferred size
On a new layer add your artist’s copyright and then on another new layer add your watermark and we are ready to animate!

You can finish here if you don’t want to do the animation

ANIMATION

Activate your Sinedot Layer (Copy of Raster 1)
Effects / Plugins / Alien Skin Xenofex 2 / Constellation / Settings as follows

Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation
Return to PSP

Undo
Re-apply the Alien Skin Xenofex 2 Constellation with the same settings but press the Random Seed Button
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Undo
Re-apply the Alien Skin Xenofex 2 Constellation with the same settings but press the Random Seed Button
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on Frame 2 and Paste after the Current Frame

A suitable tube of your choice – I have permission to use the work of Virtual_World – you can visit the site HERE If you don't have permission then you must select a tube of choice

Word Art of your choice
Gradient to make glass medallion HERE or HERE
A gold pattern or gradient of your choice
For the animation – White Sparkle tube

PLUGINS USED
Screenworks – Lace Screen

We are going to make our glass medallion first – it’s quite a lengthy process but not difficult
Open a new transparent raster image 500 x 500
Put the gradient into your gradient folder
Find the gradient and use the following settings

Flood Fill your image with the gradient

Effects / Distortion Effects / Pixelate

Adjust / Sharpness / Sharpen More
Effects / Texture Effects / Mosaic Antique / Settings as follows

Effects / Texture Effects / Mosaic Glass / Settings as follows

Effects / Distortion Effects / Warp / Settings as follows

Duplicate this layer and re-apply the Distortion Effects but use size 60 and you should now have something like this

Open a new raster layer and Arrange / Send to Bottom
Choose a light colour from your tube and flood fill the layer
Activate your Top layer and Duplicate
Set the Blend Mode of this layer to Hard Light and the Opacity to 75
Activate the next layer down and drag it below your Raster 1 layer
Set the Blend Mode to Multiply and the Opacity to 55
Activate Raster 1 and set the Blend Mode to Multiply and the Opacity to 25
You can see the order of the layers in the next screen shot

Activate Raster 1
Copy your tube and Paste as a New Layer
Resize so that when you move it into position it fits inside the circle and no straight edges are inside the circle – we will trim out tube shortly – like this

Activate your Selection Tool and set on Circle
Starting in the centre of your image draw out a circle to the edge so as to include some of the shadows and variations in the glass at the edge
Merge / Merge Visible
Selections / Invert and press delete on your keyboard
Selections / Invert

Open a New Raster Layer
Selections / Modify / Select Selection Borders / Both Sides / 5 / Anti Alias checked
Flood Fill with your Gold Pattern or Gold Gradient
Effects / 3D Effects / Inner Bevel / Settings as below

Selections / Select None
Merge / Merge Visible
Phew! we have now completed our glass medallion These work wonderfully with butterflies or flowers in them as stand alone little tags You may want to take a short break and grab a drink before we start on assembling the tag

Ok – if you are refreshed then on we go to the tag
Open a new transparent raster image 700 x 550 and put the colour you used for the background of your glass medallion in your background materials
Choose a dark colour from your tube and place in your foreground materials
Make a Linear Foreground Gradient / Angle 45 / Repeats 1 / Invert unchecked
Flood Fill your image with the gradient

Copy your tube and Paste as a New Layer
Image / Resize / As necessary to just fit in the height of your image – I resized by 70%
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Colour is your foreground colour

Copy your Glass Medallion and Paste as a New Layer
Image / Resize / Resize All Layers unchecked / 65% and place glass medallion in the top corner
Adjust / Sharpness / Sharpen
Duplicate this layer 3 times so that you have 4 glass medallion layers

Effects / Distortion Effects / Warp / Settings Below – or you can press the dice for your own

Resize this by 80% and move into position as my example
Activate the next layer down
Image / Resize / Resize this layer only / 65%
Effects / Distortion Effects / Warp / But with new settings or press the dice to find a nice one

Resize by 75% and Move this medallion down under the previous one so it looks as if it is laying flat

Activate the layer below and resize by 65%
Effects / Distortion Effects / Warp / Settings this time are
Horizontal –15 / Vertical 73 / Size 62 / Strength 59 or again press the dice to find a pleasing one

Arrange your four medallions – you may need to move some layers up or down
Add Drop Shadow 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Colour is your dark colour to each of the four layers
Activate your top layer
Copy your Word Art and Paste as a new layer and Move into the bottom left corner

I used Manual Colour Correction to change the colour

Duplicate this layer and set opacity to 50 then Merge / Merge Down
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black

Image / Add Border / Symmetrical / 2 pixels / your light colour
Image / Add Border / Symmetrical / 3 pixels / your dark colour
Image / Add Border / Symmetrical / 2 pixels / your light colour

Image / Add Border / Symmetrical / 40 pixels / White
Select this White Border with your Magic Wand
Flood Fill with your gradient
Selections / Invert
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Black
Re-apply the Drop Shadow but change the Vertical and Horizontal values to –4
Selection / Select None

Image / Add Border / Symmetrical / 2 pixels / your light colour
Image / Add Border / Symmetrical / 3 pixels / your dark colour
Image / Add Border / Symmetrical / 2 pixels / your light colour

Image / Resize / Resize All Layers / Width 500 pixels
Add your artist’s copyright information on a new layer
Add your watermark on a new layer
In a nice script font add your name and we are now ready for the final part of our tutorial – animation You may not choose to do this – if you don’t then just finish here

ANIMATION

Duplicate your image twice making three layers altogether
Open the White Sparkle Tube and File / Export to picture tubes and Name it White Sparkle like this

Now use your picture tube tool and find White Sparkle and set the size to 30 and add a sparkle on the top medallion and the bottom one

Close off the eye of the top layer and Activate the layer below setting your sparkle size to 40 and add just one sparkle on the next to the top medallion

Close off the eye of this layer and Activate the layer below setting your sparkle size to 50
Before we add our sparkle we are going to Copy Merged and take into animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation and then return to PSP
I added a sparkle to the remaining medallion and also one on the right hand side of the top medallion

Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Close the eye of the bottom layer and open the eye of the middle layer
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on Frame 2 and then Paste after the current Frame
Return to PSP

Close the eye of the middle layer and open the eye of the top layer
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on Frame 3 and then Paste after the current Frame

Woo Hoo and Phew! We are done – Save As a Gif and you can have a rest – I do hope that you enjoyed this tutorial and found it interesting and informative – do let me know how you get on

Be Sexy Be Wild

MATERIALS NEEDED
A mist or tube of a couple – the gorgeous image I used is by Uwe Jarling whose work I have permission to use - you can find the site HERE If you don't have permission then you must select an alternative tube of choice
Word Art of your choice – the one I used was part of WordArtMix 6 from Wee Scots Lass and you can download it HERE – it’s the second one down
A nice block font – I used BroadwayDeko

PLUGINS USED
FM Tile Tools – Blend Emboss
Filters Unlimited – Tile & Mirror – Kaleidoscope 1
Xero – Porcelain
Alien Skin Xenofex 2 – Electrify

OK then, if we have our few materials together let’s make a start and see what we can do

Open a New Transparent Raster Image 700 x 550
Choose a light colour from your mist or tube for your foreground – I used #b69ccc
Choose a medium dark colour from your mist or tube for your background – I used #7a5799
Make a foreground Sunburst gradient with the following settings

Flood Fill your image with the gradient
Copy your mist or tube and Paste as a New Layer resizing so that it fits inside your working image
Effects / Plugins / FM Tile Tools / Blend Emboss / Default Settings
Merge / Merge Down
Duplicate this image with Shift+D and set one aside to use later

Effects / Plugins / Filters Unlimited 2.0 / Tile & Mirror / Kaleidoscope 1 / settings below

With your Selection Tool set on Circle begin in the very centre of the kaleidoscope and draw out a circle covering the central part as below

Selections / Invert and press delete on your keyboard and you should now have a circle of the central part of your pattern
Minimise this for the moment

Open a New Transparent Raster Layer 700 x 550
Flood Fill with the gradient
Effects / Plugins / Filters Unlimited 2.0 / Tile & Mirror / Kaleidoscope 1 / Same Settings

Copy your mist or tube and Paste as a new layer – resizing as necessary – I resized by 85%
Duplicate the layer and Image / Mirror
Move the duplicate to the left hand side and slightly up and the original to the right hand size and slightly down – see my example
Activate the duplicate layer and set the Blend Mode to Luminance (Legacy) and the Opacity to 38
Effects / Plugins / FM Tile Tools / Blend Emboss / Default Settings

Maximise your first saved image – the gradient and mist or tube and duplicate the layer
Effects / Image Effects / Seamless Tiling / Default Setting
Adjust / Blur / Motion Blur / Settings as below

Effects / Edge Effects / Enhance
Effects / Geometric Effects / Perspective Horizontal / 90 / Transparent
Image Mirror and then apply the Geometric Effects once again
Distortion Effects / Warp / Settings below

Effects / Distortion Effects / Pinch / 100
Copy this layer and Paste as a new layer on your working image
Activate your original tube layer and Layers / Arrange / Bring to Top – your curved shape should now be over the Luminance copy of your tube and under the normal copy of your tube
Activate the curved shape layer and move down to almost the bottom – see my example
Duplicate the layer and Image / Flip

Now maximise the Kaleidoscope circle we made earlier, Copy and Paste as a new layer onto your working image
Image / Resize / Resize all layers unchecked / 75%
Slide down so that it rests in the curve of your shape and then slide down the duplicate shape to fit over the top

To each of these three layers – the circle and the two curved lines – add Drop Shadow with the following settings 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black
Activate your top tube layer
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Black
Effects / Plugins / Xero / Porcelain / Default Settings

Copy your Word Art and Paste as a New Layer and arrange as my example
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black

Activate your background layer and Selections / Select All
Image / Crop to Selection
Selections / Select All
Image / Canvas Size / 750 x 600 / Press the centre diamond in the placement section
Selections / Invert

Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill your Selection with your background colour
Effects / Reflection Effects / Pattern / Settings as follows

Adjust / Add or Remove Noise / Add Noise / Gaussian / Monochrome / 45
Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill the selection with Black
Arrange / Send to Bottom then Activate your Pattern selection and Arrange / Move Down
Selections / Invert – Activate your background layer
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Black

Activate the circle layer
Image / Free Rotate / Left / 15 / Leave unchecked the bottom 2 options
Adjust / Sharpness / Sharpen
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste after the current frame
Return to PSP

Undo 4 times
Effects / Plugins / Xenofex 2 / Electrify / Same settings but press the Random Seed button
Activate the circle layer
Image / Free Rotate / Left / 30 / Leave unchecked the bottom 2 options
Adjust / Sharpness / Sharpen
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop

I Can Still Feel You

MATERIALS NEEDED
A head and shoulders image of a lady – the fabulous image I used was by Igolochka - used with permission - and you can find her work HERE If you don't have permission then select an alternative tube of choice
Word Art Vix_Emo7 which you can download from her site HERE – It’s about half way down
FloraMask7 from FloraMask-Set 2 by Rieka Rafita which you can download HERE – Scroll halfway down the page until you see Misc. Masks and it’s the sixth one down

PLUGINS USED
Redfield – Fractalius
Italian Editors Generatore – Pattern Veneziana
Eye Candy 4000 – HSB Noise
Eye Candy 5 Impact - Bevel
Andromeda – Prism

Open a new transparent image 500 x 400
Choose a medium colour from your tube for your foreground material – I chose #3a546e
Flood Fill the image with this colour
Layer / New Mask Layer / From Image / Find your Mask as below

Merge / Merge Group
Layer / Duplicate / Merge / Merge Down
Use your Mover Tool to bring down to almost the bottom edge of your image

Copy your tube and Paste as a new Layer
Resize as necessary so that the bottom edge rests on the mask and the hair is near the top – I resized mine by 50%
Image / Mirror
Arrange / Send to Bottom
Activate the bottom layer
Effects / Plugins / Redfield / Fractalius / Settings as below

Use Manual Colour Correction to change the colour from black to your foreground colour as below

Set the Opacity to 42

Now open a new transparent image 700 x 550
Flood Fill with White
Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill with your Foreground Colour
Effects / Plugins / Italian Editors Generatore / Pattern Veneziane / Settings below but you may need to alter the 2 Rosso the 2 Verde and the 2 Blue sliders to get a colour pattern that tones with your image if you are not using the same colours as me

Set the Opacity to 50

Go back to our first image that we made with the mask and copy the Mask Layer and Paste as a New Layer onto our current working image
Move this to the left and down – see my example – then duplicate the layer & Merge / Merge Down
Duplicate the layer
Image / Mirror
Slide to the right – see my example
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black - apply to both layers

Return to your smaller image and now copy the lady layer we used Redfield on and Paste as a new layer on your larger image
Arrange / Move Down and then repeat this
Slide her over to the left as in my example

Copy your original tube and paste as a new layer
Resize as necessary – I resized mine by 75% and line up the bottom and slide her to the right – see my example as a guide
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 25 / Use your Foreground Colour
Repeat the Drop Shadow but change the Vertical and Horizontal to –4

Copy your Vix-Emo7 Word Art and Paste as a New Layer
Position at the top left hand corner and using your Raster Deform Tool / Pick Tool pull in the right hand node until it is in the position below

I used Manual Colour Corrections to change the red to my foreground colour – you may want to leave it as it is depending on your colour scheme
Add Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black

Copy your corner and Paste as a New Layer and place in position in the top left corner

Activate your lower mask layer~
Effects / Eye Candy 5 Impact / Backlight / On the Settings Tab choose Outline Foggy
On the Colors Tab set Gradient Smoothness to 50 and Overall Opacity to 5

Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation
Return to PSP

Undo and then Re-apply the Backlight keeping the same settings but press Random Seed

Watching The Moon

Open your background and your mist in PSP duplicate using Shift+D and close our the originals

Open a new transparent raster layer and Selections / Select All
Copy your background and Paste into selection
Selections / Select None

Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill with your foreground colour
Arrange / Send to Bottom then Activate your Raster 1 (Background Pattern Layer) and set the Opacity of this layer to 70

Selections / Select All
Open a New Raster Layer
Copy your Mist and Paste into Selection
Selections / Modify / Contract / 20 pixels
Selections / Invert
Open a New Raster Layer and Flood Fill with your background colour
Effects / Texture Effects / Weave / Settings Below / colours are #c6e0b6 and #3a0256

Selections / Invert
Effects / 3D Effects / Settings Below / Colour is #3a0256

Selections / Select All
Image / Canvas Size / 800 x 650 / press the centre diamond in the Placement Section
Selections / Invert
Open a New Raster Layer
With your Selection Tool set on Rectangle choose a part of your background pattern as below

Copy and Paste as a New Image
Set your background Materials to Pattern and locate the new image you just made
Set Angle to 45 / Size 100
Fill the selection with the pattern
Effects / Plugins / FM Tile Tools / Blend Emboss / Default Settings
Effects / Plugins / Eye Candy 5 Impact / Bevel / Select Pitted Surface Light on the Settings Tab and press OK
Selections / Select None

Image / Resize / Resize All Layers checked / 500 pixels on largest size or your chosen size
Copy your corner accent and Paste as a new Layer
Move into place and then Duplicate the layer
Image / Mirror / Merge / Merge Down
Duplicate the layer
Image / Flip / Merge / Merge Down
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black

Add your copyright information on a new layer
Add your watermark on a new layer
Now add your name or chosen text and we’re ready to animate You don’t need to do this if you don’t wish – you can finish here

ANIMATION

Activate your mist layer
With your selection Tool set on Circle click in the middle of the moon and pull out a circle as below

Now Open a New Raster Layer
Effects / Plugins / Eye Candy 5 Impact / Backlight / On the Settings Tab choose Outline Rainbow with Streaks / Basic Tab use settings below

Selections / Select None
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste as a New Animation
Return to PSP

Undo twice
Re-apply the Eye Candy 5 Impact / Backlight but press the Random Seed Button
Selections / Select None
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Undo twice
Re-apply the Eye Candy 5 Impact / Backlight but press the Random Seed Button
Selections / Select None
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on Frame 2 and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Undo twice
Re-apply the Eye Candy 5 Impact / Backlight but press the Random Seed Button
Selections / Select None
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on Frame 3 and Paste after the Current Frame

You now have 4 frames in Animation Shop
Edit / Select All / Animation / Frame Properties / Set to 25
Test your animation and you have finished!

MATERIALS REQUIRED
A suitable tube – I used the work of K DuFresne aka Kaedee    You may only use her work if you have a licence which you can purchase HERE

Word Art by Vix – you can download from HERE   It’s about half way down the page and called EMO
A pretty corner of your choice
A pretty pattern of your choice

PLUGINS USED
Tramages – Mo’ Jellyfish
Toadies – Crazy Colour Waves

Open a new transparent image 700 x 550
Choose a light colour from your tube for your foreground material – I used #f3b7d5
Choose a medium colour for your background materials – I used #c56b8e
Make a Linear Foreground Gradient / Angle 55 / Repeats 3 / Invert unchecked
Flood Fill your working image with this gradient

Duplicate this layer twice
Close the eye of the top layer
Select the middle layer – copy of raster 1
Effects / Plugins / Tramages / Mo’ Jellyfish / Settings as follows

Set the Opacity of this layer to 50

Activate your top layer – eye is still closed
Open a new Raster Layer
Using your Selection Tool click the Custom button on the Tool Bar and use these settings

Copy your pattern and Paste into Selection
Selections / None
Duplicate this layer

Select the lower pattern Layer and activate your Raster Deform Tool / Pick Tool and on the Tool Options Bar input 300 at Position X and 65 at Position Y
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Black

Activate the upper pattern Layer and activate your Raster Deform Tool / Pick tool once more
On the Tool Options Bar input 270 at Position X and 35 at Position Y
Add the same Drop Shadow
You should then have something like this

Copy your tube and Paste as a new Layer
Image / Mirror
Image / Resize / Resize so that it fits on the top of your patterned rectangles - mine needed to be resized by 50%
Adjust / Sharpness / Sharpen
Add the same Drop Shadow as previously used
Set the Opacity of this layer to 30 and the Blend Mode to Luminance (Legacy)

Open a new Raster Layer and Selections / Select All
Image / Canvas Size / 730 x 580 / press the centre diamond in the Placement Section
Selections Invert and Flood Fill with your foreground colour
Adjust / Add or Remove Noise / Add Noise / Gaussian / 45 / Monochrome
Selections / Invert
Effects / 3D Effects / Cut Out / Settings below – colour is #282546

Open a New Raster Layer
Selections / Invert
Image / Canvas Size / 800 x 650 / Press the centre diamond in the Placement Section
Flood fill the selection with a complementary colour from your tube or from the pattern – I used #b590b1
Effects / 3D Effects / Inner Bevel / Settings below

Selections / Select None

Copy your chosen Word Art and Paste as a New Layer
If you are using the same one as myself, then it should just fit nicely onto the pattern rectangle
I chose to change the colour of mine with Manual Colour Correction with Black as the Source and the Target #fce8f2
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black
Set the Opacity of this layer to 50

Copy your tube again and Paste as a New Layer
Resize as necessary and place her to the left as on my example
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 4 / 4 / 75 / 35 / Black

Because the image is quite large before I added my corners I resized
Image / Resize / All Layers checked / to 500 pixels or your preferred size

Copy your corner and Paste as a New Layer
Using your Mover Tool place in position on the top left hand corner
Duplicate the Layer and then Image / Mirror / Image / Flip
Merge / Merge Down
Effects / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow / 2 / 2 / 62 / 5 / Black

On a new layer add your copyright information then put your watermark on another new layer

Add your name or chosen text on a new layer
Open the eye of the gradient layer and set the Opacity to 40
Effects / Plugins / Toadies / Crazy Colour Waves / Default Settings
and we are now ready to animate our tag   If you don’t want to do this then you can finish here

ANIMATION

Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste as a New Layer
Return to PSP

Undo and then Re-apply the Toadies / Crazy Colour Waves / but change the settings as follows
Reds 170 / 170 Greens 100 / 100 Blues 150 / 150
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop and Paste after the Current Frame
Return to PSP

Undo and then reapply the Toadies / Crazy Colour Waves / but change the settings as follows
Reds 100 / 100 Greens 160 / 160 Blues 205 / 205
Copy Merged and take into Animation Shop
Click on Frame 2 and Paste after the Current Frame

Edit / Select All / Animation / Frame Properties / 25
